- Chase
- Chase, playing in the basement with the train set: "Hello Mr. Kurtus . . . Hello Mr. Pipe". These are fish characters and lines from a book that we read regularly.
- Chase, after going down a wet slide (extra fast) at the park - "That was really, really, super fun."
- After coming upstairs from the basement with filthy hands after touching various parts of my bike: "I have basement hands"
- Chattering on his changing table: "I have a penis. You have a penis? Grandpa has a penis. Maggie has a vagina. I have a vagina with my penis."
- "You like the light on? You like the light off?"
- Putting Chase to bed. "Read me a story in my crib". "I want to turn the light off." He also likes to put his stool by the bookcase and climb up and toggle through the different options on his sound machine.
- Maggie - June 2019 - working with the wooden tools in the living room - "We're just screwing in your couch. Screwing your couch, so it's nice and good. "
